MY FIRST NUZLOCKE (Johto)

I've started my very first nuzlocke today of my childhood pokemon game, crystal and I'm sooo scared cause 1: I am not a competitive player, I'm here for the lore and cool designs 2:I've never attempted one in the first place 3:I follow the wise words of Karen, therefore I will not play using the most "meta" pokemon and instead use my favorites, that either aren't in gen 2 or are fairly weak.

All I've done so far is pick my trainer (kris aka the female option) and my starter, sprout the Chikorita ♂(I know I know but it's my favorite starter ever), at this point in my trainer journey I don't have any pokeballs available so i'll update when I do.

P.S give advice or just share stories of any nuzlocke of yours.
