DMC S2 (spoilers)

DMC S2 Netflix reupload

Reupload for the DMC S2 rating because honestly, it was worded wrong and hurried, valid because I was literally behind a motorcycle.

Anyways, so the DMC S2... I have a little fear of saying my opinions because the fandom has a mixed reaction to the Netflix DMC series, so I'm just gonna say what's good and bad about it.

Let's start with the good side.

* Animation is amazing as always, especially the intro, the same as S1. I love the fight scenes and everything. Okay, I LOVE ART.

* Arius's design, idk, maybe I didn't like seeing him at first in DMC2, or I just liked it because his body was muscular. Like, when I first saw him in the game, all I could say was "Chick Hicks?" Same with the series (SPARE ME IM ONLY HALF SURE ABT THIS).

*Papa Roach's songs felt like I was in my uncle's and grandpa's house again, and "See You in Hell" was great but nothing I would listen to every day.

* Um, the references they did only hyped me up to go watch the gameplay, honestly. 😭

* Nell Goldstein is like Meemaw from Young Sheldon. I love Nico, btw (even though she ain't here.. yet)

The bad side

* The Sparda thing... Okay, I'm gonna sound like a nerd, but Sparda did not leave them at THAT AGE he still trained them and gave them their swords! What do you mean Mundus gave Yamato to Vergil, and what do you mean he hated his parents? I understand fully that it's a different story line, but it honestly just doesn't feel right. Maybe I'm used to the old one, but either way, WHAT?!

* Nerfing the twins like Dante beat Argosax! And the minor demon goons? The twins handled those easily too. I mean, maybe they made them struggle so there would be some extension time to put more dialog or something, but like there would be other ways and

I miss the action.

* The relationship between Lady and Dante Okay, I'm not jealous, I SWEAR. I love the ship, but idk if it was put right, and I love Lady for being someone who doesn't need a man, independent, but maybe that's why I don't have anything in common anymore.

Please don't mind the bad side being longer just bear with me. 😭

Overall I think I just miss the original hence, there are many complaints. I'm used to it alr, and I still appreciate the Netflix series for the animation, songs, and the fact they had an interest in reanimating the DMC game.

What I mean by "rewatch" is the 2007 anime and the gameplay. BCS IM BROKE, OKAY? THE FIRST ONE I EVER PLAYED WAS FROM WHEN I WAS 10 (it was DMC2 or 1; I sucked at it, which earned me to play gacha instead because my cousins kicked me from playing).
