So...modern workplaces are just always going to be understaffed, huh?

So annoying. It's like management is DELIBERATELY not putting enough people at work and they expect you to perform "beyond expectation." And then, in rare instances they do add staff, they burden the new people with additional responsibilities. THAT JUST SHIFTS THE UNDERSTAFFING BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE!!!! Workers can't finish their targets on-time at consistent quality, and now everyone is burned out.
