Loving

I have begun to realize that love is meant to be something soothing. The love I felt before, in any form, both romantic and familiar, always felt sharp and cold. When I needed a hug or some words of comfort, I would only be met with spikes. Now that I am here, now that I am experiencing love of a true nature, I am beginning to feel so warm and alive.
