social media detox: day 2

Today was so much more productive lol!

I woke up before anyone in my house so I read some of my book to pass the time. Then at around 8:30am my friend called me and asked if I wanted to go into the city with her and our other friends. Of course I said yes because I had nothing to do today. So for the the hour and 20 minute trip from catching my bus to the train station then the train to the city I listened to my music. Time flew by! 

Once we got to the shopping centre I didn't buy a whole lot. I got a Titanic poster because it's one of my fav movies of all time (and I've wanted one since I was a kid). I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. 

It's also crazy how many people are on their phones once you get off your own. When my friends and I sat down while we had some food I looked around and so many people were on their phones. Very mind blowing when you compare 20 years ago to now. 

I also bought a new battery for my childhood digital camera. I've been wanting to use it again so hopefully a new battery will get it to work. The battery should be arriving next week. 

To end my day I watched Uptown Girls for the first time. It was such a good film. I understand the hype for it! The end had me crying!

Anyway, can't wait to write about my extremely boring Wednesday tomorrow!
