obscure indie music recs! part 1

homemade - mamerico

i found this album by looking for music similar to Ichiko Aoba! it's very very cutesy bedroom pop. it's a short album too, at around 30 minutes, so it's fun to put on while studying or cleaning. i like listening to foreign language music while studying because i don't get distracted by the lyrics. (this is japanese) also, look at this adorable album cover:

Love Is The Dirt - Les Duck

i found this artist totally by chance, by looking up Helium's The Dirt Of Luck and finding this instead. it's got very catchy tunes, but i'm not sure how to classify it? i guess it's pop with jangly guitars. (never hire me to review music professionally) i definitely recommend the song Mooncar, it's a jam. also, this artist has literally 2 subscribers on youtube music, and i'm one of them. give Les Duck a try! and are you noticing a theme with the recs on this list? yes, the album covers are simply adorable. 

Graceful - Touch Girl Apple Blossom

ok i might not have much to say about this one because i just found it, like, yesterday? i don't know anything about this band but i really enjoyed what i heard on the album. it's twee heaven! i liked the lo-fi vocals and i think the percussion is really underrated.
