my past lover (which we are friends now) had reposted something about committing days ago
we had an argument-like chat because i was trying to make them stop doing this but they insisted and even pointed out that I can't come to their grave because I live at somewhere else (which i can't help with that.)
now they posted a story saying 'today is the day' i really hate my life.
the worst thing is i can't stop them no matter what i say,
i wish i could've been better, really.

Hey, first of all, I'm sorry you are going through this. It is a shitty situation. What's worse is they are using it against you-- YOU don't need to be better. You reached out, you spoke to them, and they pushed you away. GOOD Communication goes both ways-- and you did most of it. You can't help someone who won't even look at the concern from loved ones as anything less than an accusation.
Don't beat yourself up, but don't act like it didn't hurt either. You did so much more than most people are willing to go.
