🦇📖 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒕𝒉? (& 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔) | Hardcover Edition (2022)

🦇📖: I’m pleased to say, I’m working on the second hardcover edition of What is Goth, to be printed & distributed by Amazon who have just recently allowed authors this new option. I'm aiming for a release date sometime in February. Added essays include “Surviving Meds: Placebo’s Dark Horse”, “What is Goth? Afterword: Goth’s Resentment”, and “Blue: In Memory of Joel Lane” (essay from I Wouldn’t Mind Dyin’ [2018; out of print]). There is a bibliography update, a few new illustrations & photos or updates on previous ones, and minor corrections are fixed that I missed the first hundred times around (lol). The softcover book will still be available as-is, with no changes.

There’s also a new playlist up related to my work with The Blues & Beyond educational group.

TBB: Gothic is a sampler of Black-led and pioneered genres’ (blues, spirituals, jazz, etc) influence on goth and goth adjacent music (post-punk, darkwave, gothabilly, etc).
