Why are my Tumblr messages closed?

When I was in 2024, I was going through a very miserable time in my life, so I opened my Tumblr account. I created that account to post and repost about my age regression; it was the only thing that comforted me. (Side note: I never had a good childhood. In daycare, my teachers and caregivers, who were SUPPOSED to take care of me since I was a LITERAL 3-4 YEAR OLD FETUS, hit me. Why? Because my handwriting wasn't perfect, that's all.)

 Back to 2024, I created this Tumblr account to comfort myself a little through everything I was going through, okay? I didn't know you could message people on Tumblr, and as the months went by, I kept posting my stuff, reposting... But then some really weird people started messaging me. I specifically stated in my profile that I was 14. I WAS 14 Then one day I went into my Tumblr messages to see who was writing to me, and I received a wave of sexual harassment in short messages, even though I clearly stated in my profile that I WAS A MINOR! They sent me diaper fetish pictures, d1ck pics, and other disgusting things.

 I didn't know what to do...so, I looked up how to make messages private, and since that day, I've kept my messages private for my own safety. That's all. I never deleted Tumblr because I really like using it. It's a lot of fun searching for things and seeing more fan art of things I like,

My Tumblr account was inactive and private until 2025, when I gradually started uploading more drawings until I resumed regular posting in 2026...

I just wanted to say this to get it off my chest and share it with someone else.
