re: "am I even human?"

so... I've had some time to think about it some more, and I've come to the conclusion: if I didn't need my big stupid human hands and my big stupid human body to do stupid human stuff, I would 100% want to be a cat. does this qualify me as therian since I'm still comfortable with being human? probably, I'm not a cop. however, my feelings about therianism right now remind me a LOT of the feelings I had when figuring out my gender identity. I basically feel as if I'm in the "convincing my brain I may actually be a therian" stage of my identity.

what I do know is that I've been referring to myself as a cat, and I love how it feels. I'm extremely disappointed that humans can't purr from what I've been told, meaning my idea of snuggling against a partner and purring is dashed. however, cats are good at cuddling, and I'm touch starved, so...

speaking of cats, mine has a name and a website now! the name's Astro, and the website's live at http://astro.msx.gay. this is the COOLEST looking website I've ever made, I'm so insanely proud of myself for making a website that goes this hard. hoping to get my hair dyed and cut next week, after that I'll send refs n shit over to the artist I've chosen to make the ref sheet.

now... will I continue to be known as msx.gay? for the immediate future, yes. however, I might adopt the Astro name on social media. if I do, it'll be something like "astro @ msx.gay". I'd also love to adopt Astro as my avatar. that would mean losing the one of Link I've been using for ages and have grown attached to, but I'll get over that eventually. msx.gay will be for living breathing maybe-not-human me, astro.msx.gay will be for catboy/cat me.

as for the "check up in a year" thing, maybe check up at the end of the month... I might be calling myself therian by then lol
