Help with profile picture

Hey guys, I have a pfp in a square format I’ve tried to upload on app and browser and neither has actually saved the changes. I also noticed that about my status and age, they display as the old ones frequently. Is there a way to fix this, maybe with the advanced coding settings? I’m not that experienced with them
