WAKE UP. SPEAK UP. THIS HAS TO STOP. BEFORE IT'S TO SOON.

What’s happening in both Palestine right now is honestly heartbreaking. Millions of regular people - especially kids, women, and families - are trying to survive through war, displacement, hunger, and fear every single day.

In Palestine (especially Gaza and the West Bank)

A lot of the suffering is happening in Gaza, where years of conflict got way worse after the war that escalated in 2023. Since then:

  • Tens of thousands of Palestinians have reportedly been killed, including many children and civilians.
  • Entire neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, and homes have been destroyed.
  • Many families have been displaced multiple times and are living in tents or overcrowded shelters.
  • Food, clean water, electricity, and medicine are extremely limited in many areas.
  • Aid workers and journalists have also been killed while trying to help or report on the situation.

In the West Bank, Palestinians are also facing violence, displacement, demolitions of homes, and attacks from settlers and military operations. Reports say 2026 has seen some of the highest displacement numbers there in years.

A lot of people around the world are calling for ceasefires, more humanitarian aid, and protection for civilians.

In Afghanistan

Since the Taliban returned to power in 2021, life has become extremely difficult for many Afghans.

Some major issues are:

  • Millions of people are dealing with poverty and hunger. Around half the population needs humanitarian aid.
  • Women and girls face very strict rules:
    • Girls are banned from secondary school and university in many cases.
    • Women are restricted from many jobs and public activities.
  • Human rights groups say women are experiencing severe discrimination and repression.
  • Many families can’t afford food, healthcare, or work opportunities.
  • Some people became so desperate financially that reports described people selling organs to survive poverty.

Children are also heavily affected:

  • Many can’t access proper education.
  • Malnutrition and lack of healthcare are huge problems.
  • A whole generation is growing up surrounded by instability and fear.

In Sudan

Sudan is going through one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world right now, but a lot of people don’t talk about it enough.

The war started in 2023 between two major groups:

  • the Sudanese army (SAF)
  • the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF)

Since then, millions of civilians have been trapped in the middle of the fighting.

Some of the biggest issues are:

  • Around 12–14 million people have been displaced from their homes, making it one of the largest displacement crises on Earth.
  • Huge parts of the country are facing severe hunger and famine conditions, especially in Darfur and Kordofan.
  • Civilians have been killed in bombings, drone strikes, massacres, and attacks on villages.
  • Reports from human rights groups describe ethnic violence, sexual violence, and possible war crimes.
  • Hospitals, schools, food systems, and healthcare services have collapsed in many areas.

In places like Darfur, entire communities have fled after villages were burned or attacked. Many families escaped to refugee camps in countries like Chad, Egypt, and South Sudan.

Children are suffering a lot:

  • many are starving or malnourished,
  • some lost parents or homes,
  • millions can’t safely go to school anymore.

Aid organizations keep warning that not enough help and attention is reaching Sudan compared to other global crises.

It’s honestly devastating because behind all the headlines are just regular people trying to survive day by day - families wanting food, safety, medicine, and peace.

In Lebanon

People in Lebanon are also going through a really painful humanitarian crisis right now because of the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, especially in southern Lebanon and parts of Beirut.

A lot of civilians are caught in the middle of the conflict:

  • hundreds of thousands to over a million people have reportedly been displaced from their homes, meaning they had to flee suddenly for safety.
  • Many homes, roads, schools, bridges, and hospitals have been damaged or destroyed by airstrikes and shelling.
  • Families in shelters are struggling with food shortages, healthcare access, and fear of more violence.

Children are heavily affected too:

  • many can’t go to school safely,
  • some families have been displaced multiple times,
  • and kids are growing up surrounded by stress, explosions, and uncertainty.

Women and pregnant mothers are especially vulnerable because healthcare services have been disrupted in many places. UN agencies reported thousands of pregnant women among the displaced population needing urgent medical care.

There’s also a growing hunger crisis:

  • food prices and economic struggles were already bad in Lebanon before the recent escalation,
  • and now conflict and displacement are making things even harder.

Aid workers keep warning that civilians need more protection, humanitarian aid, and a lasting ceasefire to stop more suffering.

And just like in Palestine, Sudan, and Afghanistan, the people suffering most are ordinary families -   people who had jobs, schools, dreams, and normal lives before war and crisis turned everything upside down. At the center of all this are normal people. Parents trying to protect their kids. Teenagers who just want school, friends, safety, and a future. Families who had ordinary lives before conflict and crisis changed everything. (Btw let me know if i forgot any other places)
