Fast life

       Hummingbirds’ wings can move 20-80x per SECOND, their heart rate can be over 1200 BPM. Some days I feel like a hummingbird, do you ?Tiny wings moving so fast they blur into invisibility. Flying from thing to thing just to stay afloat. People look at hummingbirds and see something delicate, almost magical and fairy like…. but I can’t help but wonder if they’re tired.

I think a lot of us live like that. Always rushing, working, driving, constant searching, in constant motion . Planning the next move before we’ve even landed from the last one. Existing on quick bursts of energy and survival instincts. I wonder if they envy slower birds. The ones that glide instead of vibrate. But there’s something honest about the hummingbird too. It survives because it keeps moving. It adapts. It chases sweetness wherever it can find it. Maybe that’s were doing too….
