every road leads to the loneliness I felt as a child

I've grown to like it 

I've never really felt like the child inside of me

but i think today, she is happy. she is at peace

.today, I'm finally doing fine

i am at peace as well

ready to live, ready to fly 

memories of the future past 

glimpses inside of my heart

they're all foundations for who I am

I've grown older. I've grown stronger, I've grown wiser. 

There's too many people here, but no one I know

Hopefully no one I'll ever know. 

warm memories of past summer

cold nightmares of school hallways

today, that all made me who I am

I've been lucky enough 

to have a place to call home

despite that, I've been broken 

by bonds outside that 

But today, I am happy, I'm at peace

I am finally, for once, calm.
