It makes no sense. Let me explain.
Everything is done on a website called "Parcoursup", that's fine. You have to makes "wishes" for each school you whish to get into to. You can make up to ten wish. But you have to do this before the end of february of your senior year. And then in March and April you have to say you're sure you want those wishes and write motivational letters to show why you want to get in the school (oh and the letters can't be more then 1500 CARACTERS). Then you get the results in early June.
HERE'S THE THING. The French National exam, where you confirm you finished highschool, is in the MIDDLE of June. SO you know what school your accepted into, before you're even sure you actually completed highschool???
And then there's the aid to live on or near campus. It's called the "Crous", and depending on your financial situation you cann get some money each month to be able to live far away from home without being homeless you know? And you can ask for a little loft near campus where they help you pay it monthly or have a low monthly cost.
BUT,
You have to ask for the loft BEFORE the "Parcoursup" results are in??? You have to say where you want to live, before you know where you're actually going to need to live??? How does that makes sense???
Oh, and it because it wasn't fun enough, you have 5 days to respond whether you take the loft or not. Otherwise you can't take it and it's ggiven to someone else.
HOW DOES ANY OF THIS MAKES SENSE?????
