People who actually believe that Gerard and Frank still "want" each other and would leave their families to be together are simply bizarre.

We're not in 2007 anymore for someone to say that. Look, I ship them as a joke, not on purpose.

Or those who believe they were a couple at some point. In my opinion, there might have been a slight attraction and a lot of affection between them, but the rest was probably just fanservice.

(This is very common among band members, although sometimes it's so intense that fans end up hating the real-life partners of those members.)

This is a topic I talk about a lot with my friends because we're interested, lol.

Anyway, most people already know that phase is over and don't really believe in it. In Big 2026, it's most common for it to be a joke.
