BIRTHDAY POST

WHAT IS UP GUYS, ZOMBIE HERE !!

yesterday was my 18th BIRTHDAY!! with my prom and graduation coming up i hadn't put as much planning effort into it as much as i usually do with my birthdays. i usually plan MONTHS ahead, but because this time i had other things that i planned months in advance for, my planning fell extremely short. i was unable to come up with an activity to do.

Regardless, my mom had come up with an amazing day for me anyways. First, our theme was pink, and this was semi difficult for me because i don't own  a lot of pink clothing. The only shirts i have are a DISGUSTING shein tank i wore for my 15th? birthday (i am not proud of shopping at shein during this time, but i have ceased since then) and this garnet (steven universe) shirt i thrifted a couple years ago. and i have absolutely NO pink bottoms (pants, skirt, shorts, dress) Seeing as i hate shein now, the shein shirt was ugly and i couldn't find it and had no other option; i went with my garnet shirt!

I liked the outfit i came up with, even if my pants were too small and kept sliding down..

Then, as we were leaving to our first destination, my mom got a notification for our package lockers. Something had been delivered! My boyfriend had checked his phone and said that it was his gift for me, and me being me I WANTED IT THEN AND NOW!!11! We grabbed the package and headed to the car.

In the backseat of the car, my mom had the CUTEST balloons that reminded me of DJ-PON3. She also had a gift bag in the passenger seat, she had also told me that was for later. Since i couldn't have the gift bag, i wanted to open my boyfriends present (they wanted me to open it as well, i WAS NOT being spoiled). It was the cutest, bluest juicy couture tracksuit top!! I LOVED IT, super cute.

Our first destination was this place called tokyo harbor. It was this super cool habachi restaurant, that had a pretty interior. Our chef was really funny and noticed my "birthday girl" sash my mom had me put on in the car. He had asked how old i was turning then went "sake? sake?" and at first, i was super shocked but as he's pouring it in my mouth, i realize it was sprite.. what else was i expecting? Then he turned to my mom's friend Maggie, or Mags and asked if she wanted sake. She, of course, got the real thing. Which, i did not know sake was warm. I had assumed it was room temp/cold like other alcoholic drinks but according to my boyfriend, Maggie and Maggie's roommate/my mom's other friend Victoria; it was warm. The food and show were very good, and i totally recommend that place for birthday's, even though i feel like its popular for that anyways as there were MANY birthday celebrations happening all at once.

Also, random tidbit that im unsure if its 100% or not.. but i was singing a section of seven years by soasin to my boyfriend while we're waiting for our check and Maggie goes "I used to date Anthony Green back in High School," and i was like "WHAT?? WHO??" and she's like "Anthony Green, singer of soasin, the song you were just singing," and im like (in my head) SUPER shocked but like "yeah, IK HIS NAME BUT WDYM DATED HIM??". Anyways, if that's a true story like Maggie is sic asf in my eyes like luckyyy (not to date just anthony green. i mean like a famous singer/band member).

After waiting for what felt like forever, we got my birthday celebration and the check. The birthday celebration was a lady, our server and table singing happy birthday while the lady hit a handheld taiko drum (if that not what it's called, please let me know). The dessert was a scoop of fried vanilla ice cream with a sprinkler type candle meant to be blown out. Eating it was a little difficult as the ice cream made the fried dough around it soggy and inedible to my texture-issued brain. So, i dug the vanilla ice cream out as best as i could...it was very difficult and enjoyed it that way.

After dessert, my mom was ready to hand me my gift bag!! SO EXCITING!! First were some scratch off tickets, which i PROMISED to win the $1,000,000 jackpot (i won $10). And then it was my mom's precious birthday card to me which i loved!! Then, MAIN GIFT!! A digi cam!!! I love this camera so so much, it's what i used for my pictures attached to this blog! Victoria and Maggie had also given me pretty flowers, an ulta gift card and a blind bag 'sphere'.... idk what those things are called AND they brought my "personal" velvet cake and "mini cakes" from nothing bundt cakes. And if you've never had nothing bundt cakes, you NEED to. They're pretty sweet but extremely yummy! I was too full to eat them then, so we moved on to our other mystery location.

When we pulled up to our next location, i couldn't really believe it. The outside of this building was shaped like a barn, but a much bigger, exaggerated roof bit. It read "East Plano Bingo". Now, i know on the surface bingo might not seem that interesting, and you may be right but i love playing Bloxy Bingo and Bingo in general. I had also wanted to go to bingo with my mom for her birthday, which she was unable to do unfortunately, but i couldn't because you have to be 18 as its considered gambling. And at the time, i was not 18.

This place was relatively cheap and they had a birthday discount; Set of games for 2 cents! We were able to play about 8 games for like $40, 4 games being $30 (excluding the price of the ipads they allow you to play on). I had also gotten a triple card, which was just 3 bingo cards in a row and a single "English Bingo" card, they were all english bingo but they were specifying this one in particular..for some reason.

Unfortunately, none of us won anything. The old people bested us at their own game, shocker... But I still had A LOT of fun even though it was equally as stressful.

When we got home, i immediately went to charge my camera. I was NOT missing out on using this right away for epic birthday photos! While my camera was charging, i took a couple tiktoks with only 20 minutes of my birthday left. ANDDD im gonna shamelessly plug my tiktok @z0mboning.. please go follow and like my videos. I like to think im funny...

Lastly, to end off my night i called my best friend Rae and took pictures on my camera over the phone. She's always hyping me up so it felt super easy to take the piccys. I also felt SO 2000s LIKE. I FEEL SUPA AUTHENTIC now lol. While on call, Rae wanted to sing me happy birthday with my candles in my cake so.. i asked my mom if she wanted to do it with me and we stood in the kitchen, my phone facing me, quickly singing happy birthday twice.

It might not have been the most extravagant 18th birthday with a giant party, lots of people and expensive presents or a trip to a whole different city but i LOVED my birthday. And i appreciate my mom for being able to think and provide me with such a fun day, and also to be able to keep up with all this senior/graduating things and still be sane.

Anyways, here's the rest of my birthday pictures. I hope all of you have an amazing day <3
