I’m rewatching the 90’s sitcom “my two dads” and WOW it’s like being transported to an alternate dimension where being a gay family in the 90’s wasn’t seen as taboo.

Honestly if u hate ur dad watch this for ur faith in humanity to be restored.

Basically Nicole is a 12 year old girl whose mother passed away, because of this she has to live with her father. In her mothers will the two possible candidates for who could be her dads are this guy named joey and this guy named Michael who are completely opposites.

(She dated both around the same time she conceived Nicole but didn’t tell either about the baby)

Ones a free spirit artist, ones an uptight business man, but because they both spent time with Nicole before the paternity results came back, they didn’t want to risk losing her as their daughter incase it turned out the other was her father.

What was there solution for this?

Co-parenting.

Michael moved into joeys art-studio-wear-house-apartment thing with Nicole and they basically try to tolerate each others opposite personality’s for the love of their daughter!

Michael and joey aren’t “technically” a gay c but I like to pretend they are just to heal my inner child. And they genuinely love and respect and raise Nicole to the best of their abilities!
