Captin Hook OUAT

*Spoilers for Once Upon a time*

I love once upon a time it is my favorite show of like all time besides sccoby-doo and one my favorite character is hook and I was recently re-watching the show and when hes introduced in season 2 hes like a really bad person and as the season go on I feel like the nerfed him like yeah I get it hes "good guy" but I feel like it would have been better to have him be morally grey I feel like the fault of the show is that the concept of good and bad would be drastic and did leave enough grey I feel like they could have morally grey so much better if they didn't make the morally grey character do something absolutely awful and then something really good. I think they did well towards the end of season two with Regina and her mother. But as the season went on they made him more a comedic character compared to his OG character when introduced in season two where he was just a retched person like are we forgetting this is the same guy that killed charmings father just because like he cant have that much character development in a couple episodes from being this murders pirate to this lovey dovey guy who would be a good guy just for emma like I get if he was in love with her but still a bad guy like when they are in neverland I think it would have been better if he tried to get bae killed or something instead of being weird with him because again hes only been "good" hook for like maybe a month before that he was an awful person working with corra who just decimated a refuge camp. I think thats why I like Nook and season 2 Hook more than regular but dont get me wrong I love hook it just makes more sense for Nook to be a good/ bad guy because hes trying to do anything to find his daughter while being upset that nothing is going right in his life. I also think they did not make him bad enough when he was the dark one like I said hook was a bad person before he met emma he killed people for fun he would challenge people in duels if they looked at him wrong like dark one hook would have been killing people left and right.
