I told my trump supporting parents that I was non-binary yesterday. They told me they thought it was a phase (of course) and I told them that they needed to respect me. I literally don't care anymore. Respect me or forget me.

Sounds like it went better than what happened with me when I came out with my parents. I told them that I was gay and my dad outright said NO YOURE NOT! YOU THINK YOURE GAY YOU ARE NOT YOURE JUST CONFUSED (then proceed to pull out the Bible to quote stuff from it to me)
my mom on the other hand just told me to GET OUT! I CANT WATCH YOU RUIN YOUR LIFE! I CANT HAVE SOMEONE WHO CHOOSE TO DESTROY THEIR LIFE LIVING IN MY HOUSE!
long story short I still live with them I think they kinda get the point now but still in their mind im not gay and still push women onto me.
I refuse to tell them that im Non Binary :( I know that will just explode in my face real bad.
