Does $ = happiness?

I'm going to trade school to be an electrician, but i feel like I'm gonna miss out on so much in life, I already missed alot of normal things people face in life. But it'll be even worse i think if I go to high school half a day and trade school the other half when nobody at trade school will proboubly like me. I just feel like I'm wasting my time worrying about money when I'd rather die happy than with money
