Swiss Cheese Halloween 2

The old church bell rings.

Despite all the noise on the street, the cars and people racing, the last-minute decorators and the early trick-or-teaters, you're so focused on hitting home, that you can still make out the hour behind all the noise. Are you sure she wasn't coming? You started decorating yesterday, and carved a good 4 pumpkins. Did dad buy all the buy all the candy?

Distracted, you run into someone, bumping into them hard enough that you drop your bat, and she drops a book.
''OW- Oh, I'm sorry.'' She quickly grabs her book and looks up at you. ''Not gonna apologize? Typical. Take your bat and go.'' And stormed off toward the cemetery.
She's not your classmate, maybe she's a year or two older. She's right however, you should have said something.

Still dazzed, you stare around you. The sun's setting, Halloween decorations surround you. The cold Autumn air pushing you on your way home. Did the new cobweb decorations make sense, anyway?
You'd better make it home, you wouldn't wanna miss the injuries.
