I've always turned it onto a bit of a tradition that every sunday, is my nice little 'reset day' a nice time dedicated to myself; and I assure you that instead of labelling your sundays 'a lazy day' why not turn it into a day where you are actually focused on shaping your very lovely self to your best version little by little with this funday self care type of ritual? (not to label it creepy lol). At last, I wanna take you onto a recap of everything I did that made my sunday feeling lovely as much as setting a great start for another week ahead!
A little reminder that you control your own world, by how you live in it and how you spend your time! This is just a little highlight and a quite of an encouragement to stop a little sometimes and live, breathe, and be one within.
If I remember correctly, I woke up at around 7 in the morning; I slept at my aunt's house that night. Then, my aunt went to church leaving me incharge of the place whilst she's gone and until her housekeeper comes back! The housekeeper came after about 45 minutes of my stay that morning.
I started my day by washing my face then brushing my teeth, after that I went ahead and changed my pajamas then I went to replenish my thirst. After so I started doing pilates; specifically one by nikola's pilates! (I love her smm) it was a quick 10 min one but phew! it was exhausting. I then stretched after then went outside for a bit then headed back in again.
Instead of doomscrolling, I checked on both of my spacehey and napo accounts (yes, i use it too but I won't be tackling much about it to let no arguments about which is better and stuff) then I went ahead to youtube again to watch some of my favorite medias that are helpful and informative and entertaining too! (I'll briefly list the channels I watch ^^)

After some time, it was time to head home. Then, my mum went to the market as well as with my step-dad so I was left home with my sister, I cleaned, journaled, and vibed to some music. Then my mum was back so just then I ate breakfast (i know it was quite late already! T^T) I ate a steamed sweet corn then a sticky rice cake which I loveee!! Then I went ahead and took a bath.
During bath time, I had my 'everything shower' I washed thoroughly, including putting on a hair mask and just really taking my time! Since it is a great way to relax really after such exhausting time..
Then we ate lunch, lunch was great! it was 'sinigang' in tagalog from where I'm from, but in english, it's 'sour pork broth soup' YUMMY it had many vegetables and pork for protein partnered with some good balanced amount of rice for carbs.
After so, I ate some good amount of fruits then after drying my hair I went to take a looongg nap, and woke up around 5PM. My aunt invited us (me and mum) to go running with her! I live in the countryside soo the view are all farmlands! Very beautiful there we spent almost 2hrs and almost circled the wholeee town! We managed to travel about 4 village throughout our route! It was fun but clearly exhausting.. It was my longest run yet. Around 6:40PM (I think?) We were already heading towards the town square (or the plaza!) we stopped by a near shop to grab some electrolydes and I got a Gatorade:) Then we finally made it home.
If you made it this far, thank you dear reader, I do hope by sharing my insights about these kinds of things about life, I too have been an inspiration to few of you out there, that even though little changes/actions can help you be more comfortable within your own!
