the future of robots

i know not many people like robots, which is fair enough. but i’m always curious about the future of them…

when they manage to develop to the point of not collapsing, what will they be like? soulless, just made to answer our questions and demands? or will they have a soul of their own, as in, their own thoughts? just how advanced will this world get, and will it do better or worse for us? 

by the looks of it, maybe WORSE. many places are struggling at the moment, with animals being at risk of endangerment and inflation and losing water due to ai etc. it sucks, truly. but hey, i’m an optimist…i can’t help but consider the good outcomes that are somewhat possible to every new discovery!
