I’m seeing a pattern happening here cause why does every new K-pop release sound the same?
I’m not saying it’s all bad but Jump, Pinky up, Celebrate and now It’s me?! All the same sound. I like some of these but I’m getting tired of pretending like i’m not getting a little sick of it… Illit’s new ep doesn’t only have this sound which i appreciate but the main track is It’s me which is just a slightly better version of Pinky up and Jump. I get that it’s a new trend and it brings money but people REALLY hate it. T^T
Pretty random but i just wanna get this out of my mind.

I don't listen to that much Kpop but I noticed this especially with Katseye. Since "Gnarly" their songs almost sound exactly the same. I think you hear this pertty good with "Internet Girl" and "Pinky up". Honestly if this keeps going on, I'm not really sure if I can still listen to Katseye T-T
So yeah, I understand you pretty much.
I totally get where you’re coming from. It’s really sad seeing Katseye’s music not showing their talent enough. Like those girls really can do it all but the producers hold them back too much.
