heyhey, this is a blog for things I have begun working on and fitting into my life that help me see joy in small things and find a sense of self-peace. So, I wanted to share them with you all. After years of struggling with depression and who I am, these are a few things I started to focus on that make life a little easier.
? ˖°⤷ Mindset ˊ˗
I think the first step to a tranquil, contented lifestyle is to begin with your mindset. You have to learn to embrace who you are, this includes strengths, flaws and uniqueness. Once you can recognise yourself as an individual and can stop comparing yourself to others, you should then appreciate your own path. Not being held back by insecurity or comparison to others is a strong foundation for resilience and inner peace.

I know this is what everyone says, but taking care of yourself to fit your needs will have a bigger impact on you than you would expect. Even little things daily will make you feel more accomplished. Over time, not only will you think more positively, but you will also be taking care of your body.
▸Managing hygiene is a good start as this will improve self-esteem and reduce stress. Bringing things like showering, brushing your teeth, skincare and doing your laundry into a routine can create a sense of control.
▸Fitness of all kinds will dramatically boost confidence and build strength and health. Regular exercise will increase motivation, so the more exercise you do, the more you will want to do :D Now this exercise does not have to be you running a marathon every day; there are all kinds for everyone. (Personally, for me I really enjoy walking, yoga and dance) Bringing fitness into your life is an amazing way to take care of your body and mind.
▸Nutrition is another good thing to consider, and no, I'm not saying start a calorie deficit and go vegan (unless you really want) What I mean is focusing on what your body needs in the way of nutrients. Our bodies live off all kinds of proteins, fats, etc., and if we don't get these, it can cause more problems than solve them. So, healthy eating can have great effects on us physically and mentally. Preparing meals and even learning recipes will also help you feel accomplished.

Setting goals for yourself is an important part of personal growth since it gives you direction and a clear sense of purpose, whether these goals are long-term or daily. By setting meaningful goals, you create opportunities for self-improvement whilst developing a stronger mindset and greater sense of control over your future.
