So one of my CD's has lead me down a small rabbit hole, as music usually does to people. I like to look up the artists wiki (if they even have one) and get a little info about what the band is about. Turns out the guitarist in this CD, Zuckerbaby, played in this hair metal band called Smash L.A. before it broke up. And I don't turn down hair/glam metal bands when they randomly show up in my life so I had to go sniff out the songs.
OOO this band, I won't lie, they immediately caught my attention. From the ten songs they had on their cassette (demo? unsure) there's so many bangers. They play around with a lot of different sounds and styles in this small pool of tracks, too. Which makes this all the more fascinating to me. I love it when bands have a lot of fun with exploring how far they can fool around with different genres but still make it sound like it's coming from their main genre. And even though all the songs are about having some sort of relationship/interaction with a girl: I love the instrumentals too much to not be somewhat crazy about this band.
Plus before they broke up they were suppose to land a record deal, and through that made some music videos that are still kicking around! Boogie Man stands out to me because they did so much with so little. It's just pure fun and I love it, and all the other music vids x)
Definitely check out the whole discog if you have the chance, but I can't not show yall the music vids they're awesome :0
That's it, that's all from me,
pacdevil
