Should I boycott Laydownrot?

If you didn't know, Laydownrot is an Israeli music artist, he is the one who make "hunter eyes"

I sometimes listen to his songs, and I kinda like it. He remember me of Rebzyyx.

But.. his songs are problematic.

Just by the name of some:

• "ed and bpd"
• "cuts on my body"
• "i wanna use you"
• "razor kissed skin"
• "cuts on ur thighs"
• "murder my ex"
• "goon goon goon"
• "blood on the floor but i call it art"

I don't have the lyrics of all the song, and I don't really know what they are because he use a LOT of autotune and I'm not a native english speaker, however, by the things I understand, I guess he is romantizing sh, ed, and bpd and other things that should never ever be romantized.

Artificial intelligence?

I think he also uses AI because he releases songs every 3-5 days (in spotify and soundcloud, didn't check deezer or the other app we can use to listen music). Maybe he doesn't and is just really invested.

copied songs

Laydownrot copied Rebzyyx's beat on "Friends", the beat is from "skinny" by Rebzyyx, hoshie star, and rominkys. In "goon goon goon" he copied the song "boom boom boom boom!!" by Vengaboys, well, the songs are just similar, he actually copied those viral remix.

posts

On instagram, he posts lookmaxing vid of randoms people (idk you, but I personally hate those type of post). His posts idolize people who has "the perfect face" and for the people who don't conform to society's beauty standards, the post says that they should "reincarnate". I saw people on instagram saying that he is pro-israel but I am not sure of that.

BONUS: he can't stop reposting his song on spotify and its so annoying like bro we understand you made a new song, you don't have to make a "speed up", "slowed", "ultra slowed","slowed and reverbed", "hardstyle" versions of ALL of you songs..
