Don't look for it

So really, this only applies if it's not a matter of life or death, although I'm not sure what circumstances may apply...but listen, no matter what anybody says, 100% don't stress about looking for something, and don't replace it. It will come back, it always does

Just about anything you can think of, I've probably lost it. The thing I lose the most are my airpods, and I mean the single headphone buds, not the case, their bed. I can't even count the numerous times this has happened. Very notorious for that indeed, once I lost them for half a year, and just when I decided I was going to replace them, they found me outside....outside. I think I lose them at least once or twice every month. They seem rather playful, or maybe they secretly try to run away because I always forget to put them to sleep. That must be it. 

I'm wondering if inanimate objects may have a sense of agency. They hate being replaced, I mean, who wouldn't? Their jealousy takes over, and they return. After all, they love being sought. They find the attention rather amusing, especially when you're flipping over tables and trashing everything in sight. Retracing steps is no good either, even the attempt at it, frustrates me. I would love to meet somebody capable of such a thing. All my mind circles around is a first-person perspective from my object, watching me, maybe laughing. Yeah, just about anything, I've lost.

Upon its magical, unexpected return, you won't call yourself stupid, but rather greet it once more with a simple, "There you are, I knew you'd come back."
