Sunfish

Simple sunfish,

Aimlessly amble to the surface

Bobbing with the waves

You float on your side

Bask in the sun's warm love

Your radiating god in the sky

Reaches down and embraces you

You can not reach her

Can not jump that high

Or swim that fast

So instead you drift

And float with one fin to the sky

You savor the heat on your skin

And swim gently back down
