why am i here

hiyaaa, this is my first ever entry here <3

ive decided to base this entry on the fact, that im so tired of how the world functions nowadays.

firstly, everyone is always expecting you to be online. to be available at all times. just two days ago my professor released the exam dates during my class and ive been punished for not being ON MY PHONE during the lecture by having to sign up to an exam date, where i already have something planned, cuz it was the only time left. 

at the same time, everyone is always glued to their phone. it seems to me like were moving so fast towards the wall-e reality. this has defo caused the rise of influencers being treated as the "main" celebrities, consumerism, almost everyone lacking simple empathy, getting more and more stupid etc.

im also tired of people using ai for everything. im currently studying at university and you would be surprised how many people lack simple critical thinking skills and have zero knowledge on basic stuff. i saw a girl do her whole presentation by just copying the stuff ai has given her. she hasnt even used google once. she even copied the links with "provided by chatgpt" or whatever it says to her citations. and these people r going to be educating the next generations (im an education major hah). 

it has even ruined my favorite sports to me. influencers, who know nothing about the sport, being favoritized by the promoters, being given access to paddock, to the drivers, having the opportunity to wave the flags, all just to promote the sport they know nothing about. you want to watch the race and the fights between the drivers? how bout, instead of that, you can see how some random influencer is trying to record the race on their phone. why? the media circus, even for the sportsmen, is beyond my understanding. just compare nowadays f1 drivers to legends like senna, lauda or hunt. nothing against the new gen, just seems like they lost the prestige, they once had. why dont they invite regular fans? id much rather appreciate the chance of someone, who loves the sport, getting these kind of opportunities, whether than some fake posers (sorry not sorry). 

therefore i have decided to try to change. at least myself. i limited my use of social media, which i use mainly just for communication. i bought myself a mp3 player and literally fell in love with it. until then i never realised how annoying and overwhelming spotify was. and thats also the reason im here.
