My friends are good to me

Tuesday, April 28th

Today school started kinda sucky,

I got horrible sleep last night, I got stuck in a detrimental death loop of watching the office clips for about and hour…until 3 AM.

I felt pretty bad this morning, and on top of that my best friend has been sick all week, so she was just gone!

It was kinda horrible, but this morning I woke up with and Instagram notification from the blue lock account I get updates from, and I completely forgot it was my favorite characters birthday!

I still felt pretty terrible at school though, but I happily brought it up to two of my friends today. They smiled and seemed excited (even though both of them don’t really care about him lol)

During our art period, I was sitting on the floor in front of the sink, when my other friend sat down next to me and took my pencil from me.

She motioned me to push my sketchbook to her, so I did, and she started drawing Yukimiya all over a blank page. I was smiling so wide, she made a bunch of cute doodles and even wrote happy birthday.

I started for a while, and it filled my heart more than I think she knew. After a bit, I set my sketchbook down to go grab something, and when I came back, it was filled with tiny drawings of yukimiya all over the page from all of my other friends.

Seeing them drawing all of those after hearing it was his birthday touched me. After so long, I forget sometimes that I’m listened to, and that they care about the things I like. I felt like my heart was gonna burst. I really hadn’t expected them to make such a big deal out of it, but seeing my sketchbook filled with their drawings? I felt a few tears threaten my face. I really didn’t expect them to make such a big deal out of it…but the fact they did made me a teeny bit emotional.

On top of that, two of my friends drew him separately, and gave them to me. I’m gonna hang them up in my wall in a bit. I might post the pics when I figure out how, hahahh.

I kinda feel like it was my birthday instead. Today wasn’t garbage after all.
