i am a very chronically online person. i almost always know whats going on. so heres what i think about the hate towards these women/girls/other genders if i decide to mention
first of all AND THE ONE THAT PISSES ME OFF A LOT Sabrina Carpenter. You have no idea how many pins a day i see of shit like 'oh sabrina carpenter took women 100 years back' no she fucking didnt? just because sabrina carpenter makes freaky music doesnt mean that she ruined women. there are SO MANY black women that also make the same typa music and no one gives a flying fuck. this is racism. i LOVE Cardi B, she makes freaky music. so what? megan thee stalion? fucking AMAZING. no one's complaining. its just because a white woman has decided to express herself in the way SHE wants to that you guys are mad
ariana grande and cynthia erivo. i will admit it IS funny how cynthia is always so overprotective of ari but about the hand holding, i think its kinda cute. cynthia mentioned on a show that ari likes physical touch when there is lots of emotion. genuinely WHO cares.
girls in the glow house. holy fucking shit. i HATE how some people are like 'stop glazing them' AND THE PERSON JS SAID THAT ONE OF THEM IS PRETTY. CUZ SHE IS PRETTY. i am actually against the fact that they teach little girls that the only way to be loved and accepted is to be pretty and have a perfect body. but also genuinely what the fuck. 'theyre just teenage girls' yes. theyre teenage girls that are influencers - not for YOU, but for THEM. they are influencers bc they want to be influencers. thats it. and like the fuckass 'glaze' that you guys claim these girls get. please rmbr when speed did absolutely ANYTHING and people would turn it into an edit. yall took that as a joke. but if a teenage girl stands up for herself to a 30yo guy hating on her in the comments, and the comments on THAT video are like 'yes girl clock it' ITS NOT OKAY TO MAKE A WHOLE FUCKING WHISPER ABOUT IT ON PINTEREST SAYING THAT THEYRE GLAZING HER??
deja clark. a while ago, she launched a new brand. bikinis and everything and its so cool n shit. but instead of people celebrating with her they hated on her for not inviting any other black girls to the event. it is not about race. it is about deja launching her own little brand at 15 and enjoying it with the people she trusts and would like to celebrate with. personally if i did smth great for myself and i celebrated in like fucking canada or smth and didnt invite any other middle eastern ppl thats not a fucking problem
i might edit some more shit into this soon but its almost 2am and im hiding in the bathroom bc im scared my dad will wake up and see me on my phone cuz my parents are strict as SHIT anyways goodnight

When you grow up you understand that all these oversexual media is in a man's perspective, real intimacy doesn't feel like that and you realize the damage industry make but it'll be already already too late
baked beans:)
i think the main issue people have with sabrina isn't the sexualisation but the child-like almost babyish imagery that tends to accompany it. i think comparing her to black rappers is really missing the mark by A LOT because rap is a whole different genre known for those types of lyrics and there are several white female rappers who talk about stuff like that and don't get backlash for it as well (iggy azalea). I'm not saying pop can't be sexual it can and is but sabrina carpenter actively perpetuates dangerous ideas about young girls; she references books like lolita and makes suggestive actions whilst comparing her appearance to a child. Even if it is satire as some claim it still doesn't sit right. At least cardi b doesn't advertise her music to young girls she doesn't even let her own children listen to her music because of the subject matter.
that's just my opinion though, i don't really listen to her music anyway

Yes, it feels like they only hate a woman for being successful and talented, but since they can't admit they hate her for those reasons, they invent any stupid excuse.

I dont like how ppl always bring black women into conversations like these. It just seem so backhanded.
im not trying to put the blame on black women. i personally love all the singers/rappers i mentioned. i was just trying to make an example and show that sabrina carpenter is not in fact doing a bad thing

wait hadn't Sabrina asked a 15 year old fan multiple times if she was horny (as part of the show ofc but still asked again once she knew the girl's age)
or did I misunderstand that clip..
what
i think ill look more into that but tbh if she didnt know her age then idk if its a problem

she asked for the girls age (whos a minor), and THEN asked her the weird question.
I agree with you and don't think she should get hate for being sexual with HER OWN music, but she's also done a lot of other things that deserve criticism such as her mocking other peoples cultures.
