ok dis is just a collection of stuff ive used to mess with my layouts which i made in like under an hour for a friend and very sloppily all credits go to the WOOOONDERFUL people who have made the pages ive linked because they have saved my life and so many others tank u tank u tank u

how to code:

-w3schools, which has a bunch of tutorials for specific types of css

-guide by pidgeon, which has been my saving grace

-ksizzle's room, which has several resources and is a more thought out list than mines

-ultimate spacehey layout tut by seaweed, sooooo helpful and detailed

ok lets decorate:

-tumblr, obvi. type in any tags like #blinkies, #favicons, #stamps, or even #dividers and you will find eeeeverything, especially for modern fandoms

-nerdtests! take quizzes and put your results on your profile with the html provided. sooo cute and retro. you can also find more obscure tests on different neocities

-gahbi's collection of different spacehey layout addons, lots of them are still active and have good coding

-pixel safari! lots of sorted graphix like stamps and favicons to sort thru. soooo cute....

-blinkie wiki... my holy grail... a search based archive for legit every graphic ever.

miscellaneous....:

-lizzy's blog customization tutorial. saved my life. literally sooo helpful espacially for visual learners

-spacehey css preview!!! best thing ever. lets you see every change made by your code live. i love this site. you can also use it for your blog layouts with a couple exceptions

-the ONLY code ive found for autoplaying music that actually works. cant remember where i found it cus my dumbass didnt keep the layout creds but it saved my life.

ok that </iframe> is the end of the code. yay. to use this find the song u want on youtube, example being https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6JRX8R2Og4&list=RDq6JRX8R2Og4&start_radio=1 , and copy whats between the equal signs, or in some cases between the equal and the ammpersand, so "q6JRX8R2Og4" and paste it how it is into where ive put my big fat capital letters and leave everything else untouched. put it into your "who id like to meet" and watch the magic happen. do NOOOOT put that bad boy between any <style> or </style> because it wont work. i think. this also works with blog posts! just put it at the end of your code after your layout.

-word of advice 1: legit if you see something on someones profile that u like, best example being the elusive vinyl collection, right click to inspect and then copy dat element to use for ur own lol. this is like a last resort type thing if the og layout or code has been deleted and remember to always be mindful of this method and give credit where you can every time #nuance

-word of advice 2: if you find/make any graphics you reaaally really like and wouldnt wanna lose save them and upload them privately to tumblr so u can use the img link without worrying!! ok yay remember the #nuance lets credit ppl if we post it public
