HUSK

Just one kiss on my tender lips 

Rotten, flesh falls off the bone 

It’s just one kiss, don’t resist 

I am left alone 

Mummy believe me 

I have a husk for a heart 

Please hear my plea 

My veins are cut-forced apart 

My innocence is snatched away 

So animalistic but gentle to the touch 

Be a good girl and obey 

Is the pain too much? 

I sit so still, as I was told to do 

And received a heart, stitched up good as new
