appeal of a certain type of guy

I hope I don't sound too weird, but I've been thinking about something lately.

When I was younger, I thought guys were only attractive if they were tall and strong. But lately (for about two years now), my idea of attractiveness has changed. Now, for some reason, I think short guys with glasses and a nerdy vibe are nicer and feel safer. And for some reason, I want that person to have a hobby so we can talk about it. But strong, tall people, on the other hand, make me feel this weird fear that they might hurt me.

But then there’s the question: where do I find a guy like that? At our high school (I think that’s what it’s called in English), there aren’t many guys, and I mostly just stay at home. I guess to start looking, I need to go to some events? But which ones?
