movie review #2 - kill bill vol. 1

♡ movie name: kill bill vol. 1 2003
♡ vibe: revenge driven, fierce, gore

A former assassin, known as The Bride (Uma Thurman), wakes up from a coma 4 years after her jealous ex-lover Bill attempted to murder her on her wedding day (David Carradine). she swears to get even with every person who contributed to the loss of her unborn child and her entire wedding party. The Bride then makes a hit list and sets off on her journey to get her revenge.

⋆｡°✩ genre: action, thriller

⋆｡°✩ why i liked it:
— the fight scenes were choreographed insanely well and I like the goriness of the movie.
— Quincy Jones' Ironside plays each time they are about to fight and I feel like it only makes the movie 5x better. 

⋆｡°✩ my fav scene:
— The moment where The Bride gets revenge for what happened to her her by Buck in the hospital. She then takes out a man that hurt her, kills Buck, steals his work uniform, his truck and starts to "will her limbs out of entropy". 

— fun fact⋆｡°✩: In the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, the showdown at House of Blue Leaves scene is recreated when Maki goes to fight the Zenin Clan (Season 3, Episode 4)
