The end of the student year is approaching and I would like to find a job for the summer. And can anyone explain to me why it is so difficult to find a well-paid job outside your hometown?! I quit my job in my hometown, as I do every year, because I don't want to go back there for vacation. I also considered working by the sea to earn more, but wtf. If there are any good salaries abroad, they're probably permanent, or you need to know a language other than English. In my country, if there's a good job offer, it's available from May onwards. What I find most amusing are the job offers from May onwards that only accept students (I don't want to worry anyone, but the sessions often last until mid-June, so I doubt anyone will be available at the beginning of May). I REALLY WANT TO WORK. But on the other hand, if I have to work 10-12 hours a day (which I'm not complaining about because I want to earn money), I don't want to get paid minimum wage or even less. Or, like in one of my previous seasonal jobs, I was called home all the time, which meant I couldn't earn any money. Is demanding a normal wage for hard work really too much?
The seasonal job market is a joke
