movie review #1 - a bronx tale

♡ vibe: mafia, period piece, based on a true story

A boy (Calogero Anello) gets caught up between 2 different worlds. One built on love and the other on power as well as the choice that will define him.

— the main message of the film 
— i love the soundtrack

⋆｡°✩ thoughts:
— something that surprised me was the connection between the man who was shot in the beginning of the movie and the man who showed up to talk with Calogero at the end of the movie, telling him "if you need anything, let me know".

♡ fav scene:
 My favorite scene is when Jane goes looking for C in his neighborhood despite the feud going on with the African Americans and the Italians. When they find each other, the song "I'm So Proud" but the Impressions begins to play. They share a heartfelt kiss and get into Janes car. Earlier in the movie Sonny tells C to give Jane the "door test" to see is she is really the one. Long story short, she passes with flying colors!

♡ would i recommend?
10/10 absolutely!
