I HATE the new “Kawaii”

Back in 2020 I was REALLY into Kawaii and recently since I’m redoing and decorating my room I’ve looked up Kawaii stuff obv

All I find are the little creatures lamps and stationery together with stickers! All the cute stuff from even 2023 is gone!

So obv I say “whatever” bc companies are following trends yeah? Search for a Kawaii wallpaper for my IPad bc I’m sick of my current one…ALL CUTECORE OR 2016-CORE! 

Ok now I’m a little annoyed but whatever, it’s Pinterest so maybe the creators just left the platform? Look for a new phone case bc I need a replacement until I get the yellow out of my current one…ALSO JUST CUTECORE. 

So I start to panic yeah? Go on my second tt account and search kawaii: a few videos from 2022/2023 survived (thank god) but the rest? CUTECORE. 

Sure Cutecore is trancing right now and all that but it’s NOT kawaii! It’s not even the good Cutecore it’s that VERY light pink and white! It’s borderline what coquette used to be!
