what the hell is wrong with me. I was so excited for this class bc I love romanticism and gothic horror. but im such a lazy bum that I can't even enjoy it bc im reading it at 2 am and I just want to sleep and im going to flunk my history class. I was doing good for one day then I gave up.

Tell me about it! I take an American Novel class and I took the exam the other day, on Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter and Brown's Wieland. Romanticism and Gothic like yours! My problem has more to do with my lecturer than the materials, I'll sure have a full look on Wieland some time. What kind of works you're taught on your class?
We're reading guys like Wordsworth, Keats, and Percy Shelley, plus starting in on Frankenstein. I love the style and the emotion in them but I've just been so behind on everything that I can't really appreciate them, I just speed through :(

Ohh I love those guys from the poetry class. It's SOO cool that you're covering Frankenstein, have so much fun! I know exactly what you mean, I also had to speed through the novels although I was planning to read along but it's okay we can do it in the summer with all the knowledge in our heads I guess :,)
