Mehndi (Henna) Art (w/ pics)

Reworked some of my mehndi art with some textiles from my desi dresses into this for a zine ! I did the zine super last minute as part of a group, but I really really loved how it turned out and seeing everybody else's parts. 

One of my groupmates is a DJ and is doing an event at this other uni in the city, and after seeing my pages he said that the organizers were looking for a mehndi artist. IM SO FRIGGIN SIKED !! He messaged the woman right away and she ended up contacting me a few days later. I sent a follow-up two days ago cus the event is nearing and she hasnt responded so im a bit worried but when i tell u i was yippeing to hard , this would be my first event besides doing mehndi for fun at parties and whatever for my friends. I'm also really excited for the event in general, because I've been meaning to check out his music. Plussss the uni is super popular and im really curious bc its kinda preppy. 

I have been doing so much mehndi lately so I might have to make a separate blog on that lol. I really need more people to practice on tho. I've resorted to tubes filled with lotion because i cant wait for the stains to fade each time i wanna put some on myself to practice.
