i'm a bad plant owner (a poem!)

I've never been good at keeping plants alive

I’ve watched them wilt 

I’ve watched them die

I feel remorse each time

they were succulents after all

Shouldn't they have survived?

 I guess it doesn't matter

No guilt will bring them back

I keep forgetting to water them

My bad.

(all my succulents have had to be placed outside, i'm that bad at remembering to water them)
