sailor moon (90s adaptation)

i had finished sailor moon a couple months ago and just now realized that i had never talked about it!!

i personally really liked it and while i do agree with people who say that usagi's constant whining was annoying, at the same time, she was 14 who had this sailor moon protecting japan sprung up on her basically out of nowhere. i'd be crying too! plus, her whining went down by a landslide as the show went on as well

i've also seen people say that the sailor scouts being shown in the nude was sexual and to that i say: how? that is a barbie doll body first all. second, and most importantly, it is them in their purest of forms and managing to find that to be sexual is just weird. especially for usagi at the end of her battle with sailor galaxia. she had to lost to galaxia as sailor moon and now all she has is herself in her purest form and purest love and vulnerability to reach galaxia's true heart. and i personally loved that message: that even the strongest, at the end of the day, will only have themselves to fight against evil at times

but anyways, i loved the show. 10/10 would recommend
