it is officially my 18th birthday

it feels like the walls are closing in on my future, the one only i have control over

but control has never been my strong suit, and i feel as though ive strayed too far from the path i was meant to go

it feels as though everyone has accelerated, and ive only fallen behind the speed limit

it feels as though the map ive been using has warped, and every path makes my head spin

it feels as though i was never meant to keep pressing down the gas for a long time
