I have a new book idea of a girl who lives in a trap door underneath a potted plant, and the trap door is in an alleyway between freedom and a sacred cult that she escaped from. The trap door leads to ancient tunnels dug up by hares, and she lives there, but as she is, her brain is being eaten by flesh-eating beetles, and she's also not aware of her surroundings, so her mind leads her to imagine a map to escape, but that's all I have. I can take suggestions!

It sounds like a darker take on Alice in Wonderland! Would be cool if the hares were sentient and could speak to the girl. Perhaps the way she perceives the world as a whole is a hallucination caused by her brain being eaten away? Will she ever escape? Maybe she should but should wind up in a hospital and get treatment if you want a happy ending... There's so much you could do with this!
