A little help here?

SOO I think I'm going to include them in a writing assignment again. It's been a while since I wrote true prime RoD characters, but I've been in a block, man! I mean, I've been able to draw and write them in different forms, but I haven't had the energy to start from the top. Genuinely it's difficult for me to start at the beginning of a story. Like, I've heard all the stuff of like "Oh you don't have to write the entirety in order," "take your time and don't overexert yourself," "Write arcs at different times and then piece them together," "stop being a wuss and do it already," "write at least one sentence a day," "have a good outline." Maybe I'll try exploding and dying or something IDK!!!

Does anyone have actual good tips for actually being able to stick to it? Not advice you've heard, but stuff that's actually worked for you. I'm trying to get medicated before the end of the year, but that doesn't mean I can just leave this stuff on the back burner. UGH!! What should I do :(
