Inconsistency in art style, any tips?

Honestly after revisiting the art I post here and on my tumblr, my style is extremely inconsistent. It might be because I'm new to digital art and I'm still trying out brushes but this problem also leaks into my traditional art now. Any tips for better consistency or anyone going through the same thing?
