Game Review: Edna & Harvey, Harveys new eyes

Welcome to my first Blog where I will review a very fancy game :D

But before we start some simple informations about the game :3

I played this game on a PC so I will write in the PC gamer POV (its important when I write about the Gameplay)

And now have fun reading!!

To explain it easily: it is an 2D drawn adventure game where you have to solve mysteries and quests, you play the little girl Lilly, she lives in a monastery with other orphans. One of these Orphans is her very best friend, Edna! Edna got a blue plush bunny called harvey (he is gonna be a very important part of the story!). Weird things are happening in the monastery and Edna says there is something wrong and Lilly got to safe the mystery.

So this was a quick explenation of the game ehe-

Now to the Review woohoo, I will do this in 3 parts: Gameplay, Design, Story

The gameplay is actually surprisingly simple!! I only had to use my mouse/mousepad to move around and interact with objects/people and my spacebar when I need help. I think its very cool that it shows you with what objects/people you can interact when you need help!! I give the gameplay a 9/10

Ok to be very honest I am in L O V E with the design of the game like it is sooo good!! Everything is drawn and the background designs are on T O P. Deadalic got many games in that style and after "The Black Eye: Satinavs Chains" is the artstyle of this game my favorite. It is very simple but expresses so much! The developers really cared about details in this game. There are even complex designs you can interact with just for fun. I give this game a 10/10 for the Design!

Ok so as a little disclaimer I sadly did not play the game you hypothentically have to play before this so ye (that game would be Edna&Harvey, Ednas Breakout).

In the main part I already told you a bit about the story!! :D

But here as a little recap: You play the little girl Lilly, she lives in a monastery with other orphans. One of these Orphans is her very best friend, Edna! The story is very well written but sometimes a bit confusing ehe- I give it a 8/10

Overall this game is vey good and timeless. It is definetely one of my all-time-favorite games!

After the 3 points I wrote about I give this game am 9/10!!

I recommend this game everyone who likes puzzlegames with a tint of dark humor!
