BYF, Boundaries & Links

Hello, and welcome to my blog. :⟩

I decided to make this entry as a little introduction, and to give you a heads-up of what to expect when you wanna interact with me.

First and foremost, I have a few very strict boundaries:

• Do not make any jokes or comments of a sexual nature to me; I don't mind you posting about such stuff on bulletins or blogs (as long as you give a warning), but I do not want that sort of thing aimed at me personally.

• I do not tolerate any type of bigotry. I obviously cannot keep the wrong kinds of people from interacting with me, but just know that I will block anything and anyone that makes me uncomfortable enough.

• Please (and this is for your sake more than mine!) do not vent to me if we don't know each other. I am not a very emotional person and I do not trust that I will be able to handle sensitive topics with enough tact to be of any help, and as such I don't wish to make you feel worse.

I hope these are clear enough and will keep misunderstandings from taking place.

Now, some stuff you should consider at the moment of befriending me:

• I am autistic and do not understand certain cues very well. Tone tags are appreciated, but not necessary; just know I will ask directly if I am unsure of what you mean.

• On that same topic, I can get fixated on certain things from time to time. I can be annoying about those, but you're free to tell me to shut up.

• I have been diagnosed with ASPD and NPD. Although I am in therapy, being aware of my disorders does not make them disappear (I wish!), and as such I am still subjected to the symptoms.

• I am absolutely not looking for any sort of partner or relationship; not only am I aromantic and asexual, but I also have a girlfriend. Please do not add me if your intentions don't align with mine.

• I prefer interacting through bulletins, as I am a little awkward for starting conversations. I do make an effort to interact with everyone I add though!

• English is not my first language, so perhaps I won't understand common sayings or regional slang.
